The breeders

Nace en 1988, liderada por Kim y Kelley Deal, que en aquel entonces hacian presentaciones a duo, pero el nombre como tal fue usado cuando Kim Deal, decide armar un proyecto paralelo a Pixies, que era la banda oficial en que ella participaba, este proyecto parte con Tanya Donnelly, Josephine Wiggs y Carrie Bradley y Britt Walford, luego que Pixies se separara por un tiempo Kim continuo su trabajo con The Breeders pero ya sin Tany Donnelly y Britt Walford quien fue reemplazado por Jim MacPherson, luego de muchas giras y exitos la banda se encontraba en un desgaste fisico y se separa en 1993, pero en 1999 las hermanas Deal, a quienes se les unieron los integrantes de un grupo llamado Punk Fear, quienes son Richard Presley, Mando Lopez y Jose Medeles, deciden rearmar la banda estando activa hasta la actualidad.
